Itinerary

Day 1: Zanzibar- Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park

Our safari will start from Zanzibar ferry /Airport and to Dar es salaam and soon after your arrival you will meet your safari guide waiting you with safari vehicle and start a journey to Mikumi National Park.

The Mikumi flood plain is the main feature of the park along with the bordering mountain ranges. Animals commonly found here include lions, elands, wildebeest, buffalo, warthog, crocodile, wildebeest, Impala ,giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants .

We will stop for lunch and enjoy in restaurant then continue with our journey to Mikumi and soon upon arrival we will check inn and start enjoy our first day animals watching till evening and go to our accommodation for relaxation ,dinner and overnight.

Day 2:Mikumi National Park & Masaai village

After breakfast you will continue with Mikumi game drive till lunch time ,break for lunch having little refreshment and go to visit Massai village to learn and enjoy more this nomad tribe and also is your chance to watch and dance with them and after that we will go to our hotel for relaxation, overnight and dinner.

Day 3: Mikumi to Nyerere National Park

After breakfast a journey to Nyerere National Park(Selous) will start,as usual during lunch time we will stop for lunch and continue with enjoyment. Selous is quite a distance so you will arrive by mid-day and on arrival and after lunch; you will go for a boat ride in the Rufiji River. Crocodiles, hippos and hippos can be seen here as well as other animals as they converge to quench their thirst. Crocodiles take advantage to hunt their prey and you might be treated to sights of animal action if lucky.

Day 4: Nyerere National Park

After a breakfast you will spend a full day game drives enjoying Tanzania wildlife variety including Lions, elephants, zebras, gazelles, impalas and the rarest of all; the African Wild dogs.

You will get a short break around lunch time while enjoying wild life and then during evening we will back to our accommodation for relaxation and overnight.

Day 5: Nyerere National Park to Dar es Salaam - Zanzibar.

Early the morning we will wake up for walking safari if you wish ,having nice time to walk to a biggest National Park in Africa then back to hotel for breakfast, Checkout and then start a journey to Dar es Salaam.

We will stop at hotel during the lunch having lunch and little refreshment and continue with our Journey. Upon arrival you will either be transferred to Ferry/Airport and back to Zanzibar
