The Safari Blue is definitely an experience to remember when you visit Zanzibar, it is normal start either from Fumba viilage or kikungwi. Menai Bay is marine conservational area with isolated sandbanks, rugged island scenery, uninhabited islets, pristine marine life and crystal-clear turquoise waters. It contains extensive tropical fish species, sea grasses, coral reefs and several small islets supporting mangrove forest. The aquatic life within these waters is often very prolific and one usually sees moray eels, scorpion fish, lion fish, large groupers, octopus, lobsters, manta rays and spotting dolphins.
The trip start morning at 7h00 we will inboard you into sailing tradition dhow toward isolated sandbank for relaxing, swimming, beach walking, sunbathing followed by an exotic tropical fruits lesson, local snacks and the best seafood barbeque you have ever had! The trip gives the guests opportunities to snorkel around pristine coral reef which teems with tropical sea life.
Thereafter you will have the chance to visit Kwale island where we have our “Desert Island” of seafood BBQ buffet lunch includes fish, slipper lobster, calamari, rice and sauces with ice cold sodas, mineral water and beer, all served hot from the grill. Our trip will be finished by visiting kwale mangrove forest to discover the nature of baobab tree and lagoon the natural swimming pool.
